Crack? There it is again..

But, I am a perfect example. I bought a street car for my son and I to enjoy. It has a 350 in it that runs perfectly fine. What did I do? I strted shopping for a new motor before I even had it home.

I could have easily pulled the leaky 350, cleaned and freshened it up. But no... I found the leaks and stuffed a cam in it KNOWING that i will be yanking it out of there in a few months.

LOW BUCK STREET CAR????

415" inch small block... Steel crank, H-beam rods, forged pistons, Brodix aluminum heads, team G intake, Holley HP, roller cam...

Oh yeah, lets not forget about the 3500 stall converter and the 4.10s out back.

Found a tranny leak and insted of a stocker rebuild with a shift kit.. I know that I'll be buying a TCI.

I have also found re-pop steel rally wheels in a 15x8 with a 5" back space so I can fit 265-60-15 drag radials under the car and still have it look stock.....

WAIT...
It gets worse.....

If this drags into the winter......
New pistons and a weiand 177ci are on tap...

OMG.... and maybe a 150 shot on that!!!!

Can't forget the fact that that I am not gutting the interior, I am going to freshen that up too....

Oh yeah... Probably get a matching car seat too...

I NEED HELP!!!! This is ot normal behavior!!!!

doug you need to go ahead and buy that nitrous system and install it on the treefitty that way you can work out the tuneup

without having to experiment on the 400, and it's fun to blow up old greaseballs

Back when i was young i did,'t mind breaking stuff..... nowadays i am content just wiping down the car before making a lap , seeing the car make rounds and drive it back up on the trailer untill the next time..I lean (ok pro 70 that's your cue

) over fenders all week long so i don't want to do much of that at the track.. cool it down., wipe a little oil from the breathers off the firewall, check the belt, add gas and look for possible problems etc.. have a chair and work the numbers for next round....

That is my toy out in the garage. It doesn't get much playtime as I am usually busy with the Altered.
