I sure hope so. Him and his team are a safe bet to be a successful venture for anybody who can afford to sponsor a Top Fuel team...WC1

It's the same way they did Dick LaHaie back in '90...virtually an identically-worded statement...Nothing at all to do with the quality of that team; rather it's the management of the sponsor's company...well, it was a great ride while it lasted. Good luck to Snake Racing in the future. Somebody'll step up...Cheers, WC1

Personally.....I'd say they are making a monumental mistake in cutting ties with Snake Racing.....NOWHERE are they going to get the same kind of exposure for the paltry amounts (compared to NASCAR deals) they are spending for the Drag Racing operation.

IF, they have not gotten the "desired" results from this association.....it is their OWN fault........I walk into conveinience stores all the time, and see Rusty Wallace displays and pics of his car.......NEVER have I seen ANY displays of Dixon Or T.J.......(I did see a blow-up Miller Lite Dragster in a liquor store once......I asked for it and got it....and sent it to Jerry and Cheryl).......Poor marketing on Miller's part, in MY opinion!! :x

That is precisely my point, Billy...(well, more or less, actually...in other words, I AGREE!)...some corp comm idiot has no clue what to do with a dragster, says I...I saw competing Dixon and Bernstein cutout beer ads in a convenience store...in Baytwon, Tx...half a mile from HRP...but other than that, it's all NASCAR everywhere you look...sheesh...

One of the sponsorship graphics deals I was doing involved a Pro Stocker, and when I went to submit my renderings to the corp comm art department of the potential sponsor, the art director there sent ME HIS concept...it was a Top Alcohol Funny Car...he goes "This is my direction for the drag car concept"...and this company was already involved in motorsports...I checked back with KO Talent to make sure we were talking about a Pro Stocker...yep...get the picture? This guy had no idea in hell of what the difference is between a Pro Stocker and a Top Alcohol Funny Car is (they're drag cars!), and it's him who is calling the shots. Right! He's qualified to make those decisions, for sure! This guy was not bad at all, actually, compared to some others I had thrown up to me...
