Last Thursday, I went to make an office call for Randolph. Dr. Wheeler's office called with an emergency lighting problem. Rand had to go somewhere so he sent me over to check it out...8 ladies sitting there doing the internet, and the entire office is recessed spot lighting. Except they had 150-watt flood lights, extended flood, spot, diamond-pattern, halogen, a few recessed, 65, 40, 85 and 100 watt bulbs in all 80 openings...they had never been consistent, apparently. Half of them were burned out. They are hysterical to have them "fixed"...I'm like, "Fixed"? You mean, replaced? "YES! THAT's the word! RePLACE them, PLEASE!" I am sure y'all know how ridiculously simple it is to do that...but then again, how many dermatologist's receptionists does it take to replace a light bulb? At least 2 so far...one to hold the bulb and look at the step ladder, and one to call Randolph. I went to Home Depot and bought 4 discount cases of 65-watt recessed spots at $36 each; we ended up with 48 bulbs. I got sick after that and had to go home, but Rand told me today the doctor threw a fit when he found out they hired Randolph to come in and replace the ceiling light bulbs, when they have a tall step-ladder and the Home Depot is right down the street...anyway, they paid for the bulbs and Randolph got full company rates for the hour it took him to replace the light bulbs...Cheers, WC1

Just to keep Hillbilly's post derailed a bit further. When I was a telephone repairman.A call to small local business. The office manager was just screaming about how their lousy#*!##$%#phone system was dead ,and making it clear that was all my fault.I had been there before so I went into their back room, unplugged their coffee maker from the plug marked"phone system, do not plug anything else in here"plugged the phone system back in again.Smiled at her and left. But "It was good to go"
