Awesome 2 days of racing this weekend,...
6 nitro cars, 10 alky cars, 17 pro mods,.it was killer, today I couldnt take being a spectator so I jumped in and helped out Jeffry Dykes the seattle Photographer who owns the old lumpy/Forest Lablanc 280 z bodied/81 Mongoose chassied nostalgia flopper for its debut and maiden voyage, it is a BB/FC and almost everything on it is polished, with more left to get done too...lol
It was a toss off whether to stay at home and keep
sanding and priming on my car or go the 4.5 hrs to this deal,.
9 am saturday I chose to go 3hrs50 minutes later I pulled into the track to catch the lsat 2.5 pairs of ProMods, and first rounds of alky and Nitro,...the crowds were decent not packed though by any means, and it varied what time of the day it was and which side the sun was to the track, but yes at a couple of times during the two days there were lots of people,..I tried my best not to be a spectator, but what the hell I had a camara in my hand,..lmfao...in shame..lol
Sunday that all changed, and I jumped in on the Jeffry Dykes alky 280-Z flopper because Randy and his crew were pulling doulble duty, I felt right at home,..the promods were vary spectacular,..if you like that racing,..the were skating all around and nearly crashing there cars to get into the 8 car field , and battleing against 17 cars to do it. There were some cones taken out in the process,..by late sunday the last couple of Promods left (semis) One car from each pair both ran 6.15 and 6.18 @ 228,..pretty impressive for this track and spokane will only get faster,...it was in the mid to upper 80`s.

Dont know the guys name of the NitroPimp,..it is chevy Powered on Pop.

Ron Huegli ran mid to upper low sevens all weekend long and entertained everyone with long smokey burnouts and then a minimum of 3 drop hops

This is Randy and Kim Parkers pits,..Jeff Dykes 280 Z Nostalgia BB/FC on the right with Randy doing the driving,..and Randys alky flopper on the left with Kim doing the driving,..Randy`s first pass in the 280 Z`s maiden voyage carted a 7.22 good for being the #4 qaulifier and then lost first round with a 7.28.

Jeff Dykes/ Parker drivin awesome 280 Z,..Only 1 of 2 in existance,..the other in the south called the Missiouri Raider ,.The chassis is Tom McCewens old 1981 chassis and the body is Forest Lablancs body that was originally a nitro body of Luppy and ???? sorry brain fading

Bucky Austin and Garrett Bateman were the show and impressed everyone out of the box down Spokanes Green Track to a pair of 5.90`s
Bucky ran some low .90`s and Garrett went 5.88 @ 238,
Garretts 2nd run against Bucky drifted to the centerline lifted took out the 1,000ft cones, and still coasted threw with a 6.02.
Mr.Explosive Mark Sanders went a few 6.0`s

Jolly Rogers Ran a few low -mid sixes.

Tachman was Licensing someone ?

NitroPimp went labored a 7.15 but hurt the motor
at the end of the run and never returned
