8) my Mom made all of my concerts either in a taxi-cab or caught a ride with another students parents... Dad always worked 2 jobs so he only caught a couple deals.. i bet they sounded terrible in the old gymnasium. by the time my youngest brother was in school the new hi-school had a state of the art theater with permanent seating, nice stage and great accoustics.. property taxes :roll:

Mostly it's Denise who schleps her around to all the rehearsals, etc. I show up for the performances mostly... I was able to be there early yesterday because I worked from home... someone decided five years ago that they wanted to build up a strings program in the county and it's paying off... we have a few kids who can compete on a state wide basis and more are coming along each year... bp
