New Here. Looking for info on High Horse 1965 Mustang

Postby High Horse » Mon Jun 22, 2009 5:54 pm

My Dad and I ran a green 1965 Mustang fastback primarily at Cecil County Dragway in the 70's. Rick and Horace Finnefrock. I'm in the process of restoring the car{yes, I still have it} to mainly the form it was last raced in. If anyone has any old pictures or articles showing my Dad or I, let me know. My Dad is 80 now and the old memories mean a lot. I'm curious too. Also, any info on the cars of the period:Soul Survivor,69 Camaro. Ghetto Missle,69 Camaro,Lew Smedley,69 Chevelle,Buck n Horse,65 Mustang, Levon Currie,73 Mustang,Nightmare,63 Nova, Poverty Stricken, altered, or anyone elsed who raced at Cecil in the 70's. Look for updates on the car as I take it back from 80's show car, it was a National Champ, to an 11 second peice of history. The car still has the motor as last raced, and many period parts. Thanks for your help!

Wow, that is so very cool that you still have the car. Best of luck with it. 8)

Welcome to the group. Jack Redd or one of our other East Coast veterans may remember the car. Good luck with your project and keep us up to date! bp

Owner of new online video network featuring drag racing!

Postby ERRATICTV » Mon Jun 29, 2009 6:41 pm

Hey boys and girls,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sherif and I own ERRATIC TV. We are launching the network next month and our first driver profile is Disco Dean Karns. We are will to look at any footage anyone has to air on our network as long as it's in HD quality. You can email us at the website.

This is the first promo video for the drag racing episode:

Any feedback our thoughts on future driver profiles or episodes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thank you! It's good to be back in racing. (I'm also working on a reality show about me racing!) I hope to get more exposure to your board and your members :-)

Thanks,

Sherif
