Billy, Doors are very overrated!!   lol

bandit, I take it that pic is downtrack somewhere near the finish line. The corn in the background sure brings back some memories, as does the corn at Marion County!! LOL

Of course, one of my most vivid memories of Oswego is my very first run in my Nova. I ran off the end of the track, almost to the railroad tracks, and came back with a few beans hanging off the front axle and springs. LOL It didn't bother me too much but mt Dad sure wasn't happy about it.
I did come back the next week and win Run Tuff Eliminator.
Beginner's luck!!!

That's awesome Rocky. I remember John Schober trying for the tracks on several races. lol I was pitted past midtrack for sure. I miss the old dust bowl. The original Dirty "O" lol
Marion reminds me of Oswego. 'Specially the shut down area. lol

Senor Bandito, I have to ask. The guy leaning over talking to you with the white t-shirt on. What's that blue thing running across it? Is that something in the photo that needs to be removed, or is it a wire that he had or something? Thanks, WC1

Cool deal, Pete. Thanks for sending that great shot from 1967.
Jean, Dennis, Mike, I need new pics from you guys...
ProZ, there was a picture of Painter Tom in the cockpit of his dragster that you had on the banner...do you happen to have that available?
Thanks, WC1
