Matt called me just after ,said they'd fired on 75% and all was good! Those boys had quite a thrash this week
Now he's on the road with the flopper and bringing the fuel altered down in the morning.
I think he is getting an appreciation for what his old Man has done for years.

Very cool, Wally and Ron. OK, here's the status in Dinwiddie. This town is DEAD so far.

We had better get some DRAG RACERS in here to tell these guys how to party.

Tonight, they had the same person attempting to work the welcome desk (signing people in), bar tending, and working the Starbucks franchise they have going. After 15 minutes of waiting for a beer, I said screw this, let's go to Hooters (which we had seen driving in). Sad to say, Hooters was a zombie parade itself... I'm hoping that it's just that it's a Thursday.

At the host hotel, there is no real bar. it's just an extension of the front desk and the same person works both activities (to the detriment of anybody waiting for a drink). I was looking forward to a nice, real, FULL bar that we could all hang out in. We may have to move the party the FIVE miles to the local Hooters, but I'll wait and talk to the organizers first.

As far as where RacersReunion will set up to do their radio show on Saturday night, I'm told there is a modest party room. Otherwise, it will be in the lobby, and maybe Sam Auxier can fill in by checking in guests every five minutes or so during his program... guess we'll see how that goes.
