Zapp.....Thanks! but I can only take a little itty bitty teenie weenie microscopic bit of credit for organizing this deal.
There is a group of about 6-8 BOT and Track guys involved and a couple of guys eat...sleep..and breathe this.
Looking forward to seeing y'all there. It's the participants and fans that make it!

It is definitely on my TO DO list...."Hoping" to participate against someone or something

As many of you ole timers know that I ran top fuel circuits in the EAST from 1965-1972. Plus a few others racing class circuits. Now I will have a "Top Fuel Reunion" at Virginia Motorsports Park during the "Best of Times"/Draglist.com Nationals-East in May AND AGAIN at the June Meet at Maryland International Raceway. When MIR was St. Mary's Dragway (then 100 ft, wide & 1-mile long) had the largest purse in drag racing history for along time with the $10,000 NASCAR Top Fuel Meet. It was won by a blown Chevy of Ronnie Still from Delaware. Many ole timers will be there including some with their dragsters.

I'll be there! Bit of announcing to relieve the troops. Will also be hosting formal bench-racing sessions - complete with separate tent and PA-system - on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday too. Bring your favorite "road stories" and other tall tales from
drag racing history! Expect BP to be a heavy player here.

And if you'd like what you exhibit, drive or ride appraised while there, be time for that too.
