Lefty? Almost!?

I wonder why I can do so many things well left handed even though I am right handed.

Except writing or throwing. I tend to have ambidexterity traits. I can throw or write left handed if I have to. But not as well as right handed. Perhaps I should practise.


But I can use all tools, assemble parts ,paint with brush, spray can, spray gun, type, feed myself, drive, shave, beat, mix or stir while cooking, light a cigar, wash,brush my hair or teeth-- And especially DRINK!!! as easily with my left hand as well as right.

Casting a fishing rod I can do left or right. Shooting a hand gun I can do with both. A rifle or shotgun is a little harder to do left handed. But I can do it.

Can everyone do this It just dawned on me today after assembling something that I have that atribute.

Perhaps being a mechanic for 45 years prompted that duel trait. I can start a nut or bolt in hellish spots with either hand if I can access it. (this could be the key-because as we most all know --sometimes the opposite hand has better angle access to a hellish spot.
Or I can use a ratchet, air tool etc. with either hand. like I said most anything.

Anyone else experiance that?

I'm useless with my lefthand except for fishing. I real with my left hand. I have a hard time using a right handed bait caster.

Lefty here. I can do a few things right handed. My Dad was like you A.J., he could do anything with either hand.

My dad did different things with either hand. Ate left handed, wrote right and so on.
I've always said I was ambidexterous, I can screw things up with either hand.

this is why your so gifted at building things and art .


am a bothie , drafting can do with both hands but have to be carefull with the left to prevent smudging , welding can mig with both but only tig with right and I am a left eye predominant shooter but shoot right handed firearms and have given myself telescope eye several times because of this . .

I discovered a long time ago that I can throw hammers and tools out across the yard with either hand...for pretty much anythings else, my left hand and arm just keep my shirt or jacket sleeves from flapping in the breeze

I can tie my shoe laces with both hands.
