They were really professional looking shirts BP - I had assumed that he had gotten them through you. If no one knew any different he was the official photog from Draglist.com :)

Cool... I really get jazzed when guys do that. David Hapgood got tired of waiting for my tired @ss and made himself some shirts for when he covers NW events for us. Pete Gemar had a draglist t-shirt almost before I did! Thanks to Wheelz for doing it, too. I just ordered some stuff from that CafePress place. Nice stuff, but a bit pricey. I need to go find a place where I can make a bunch of shirts that come in at 10 bucks or less (although some of the CafePress stuff does that now). bp

Hey, Wheelz... where'd you get the t-shirts Perry mentions in his story? bp
BP, I finally got the pictures of the shirts. They were just Faded Glory shirts from Walmart and the embroidery cost about $50.00. I took a picture of my sweetie with the man, Big Daddy. She was beside herself.

Is that a re-pro or is that the original of Harrison Jacob's Memphis Bo Weevil at: http://img2.glowfoto.com/images/2006/06 ... 74271L.jpg ...???

Those guys went to the Nationals every year leading up to the '63 Nationals at Indy. They were interviewed by NBC's Wide World of Sports in the first television presentation of Drag Racing as a sport. I have it kinescoped, and in black and white. That was back in the day when a class win meant something.

Does anyone remember Pete Shadinger's straight Buick rail... or Hugh Tucker's roadster... Those were "Hot Rods" not like today's "Formula Cars" that look like they come right out of a blueprint in somebody's rule book.
