Is it Thursday already? Took the week off to lay a patio and get the car ready for Marion - I hope the car's ready to go cuz all I've done is work on the patio...

ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Ya!!!!!

It was the night before Marion
and all threw the pit,
car haulers were parked
and there they sit.

The drivers and crews were all snug in the beds
while visions off low ET's and win lights danced in their heads.
With Craftygirl in her CCM crew shirt and me in my Jegs cap
Had decided to kick back for a short summer nap.

When out in the pits there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to the camper door I flew like a flash,
And tripped over the cooler and fell with a crash.

The sun in the east was very bright you know
But gave lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
A pit filled with NFC and drivers without fear.

With all the great drivers, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment that this must be it.
More rapid than eagles to the staging lanes they came,
And I whistled, and yelled, and called them by name!

"Come on, Tweety! Snakebite! Fuelish and Insanity!
Come On, Doran! Sharkey!, Excalibur and Damn Yankee!"
They fired them up and the sound gave me a chill,
Knowing what was coming I'd be in for a thrill.

Oh Ya!!!!!!!!!! One more Day!!!!!!!!!!!

Trailer tires checked Wheelz. Aleast we got 2 out of 5 trips in this year without problem!
