Solid Rock at Milan Nostalgia

Postby al_inbancroft » Mon Sep 27, 2010 11:38 am

Hello everyone,
Finnally Met Rocky and Bandit at Milan last Saturday. Class guys, all of them. They really took time out to explain the car to my Son Graham. Along with a stint in the seat!, as Rocky tradition. We didnt get to see ya run again at 5PM unforunately. Grandpa had enough by 6, so we left. The organization was a mess there, but the pits were full. Twice the amount as last year. We'll be back next year.

My son was smelling his hoodie and asked, What is that cool funny smell Dad? I replied "ALCOHOL"
I think you made a impression Rocky!
Regards.
Al & Graham Martin

It was great meeting you Al. I wish I had payed more attention to you and Rocky's conversation. It's fun putting kids in the car!!
Our 5 pm run turned into a 6:30 pm run. All the cars in the right lane had major isses. We were in the right lane..:(

It was good talking with you, Al. I'm glad Graham enjoyed himself. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

I was bummed we couldn't make it to Milan to cheer you on. We were double booked and I didn't even tell Makayla or I'd still be in trouble lol

Yeah, Bandit. Milan is a good track. But you really have to watch it at night. You can actually watch the dew fall at night, making the top-end VERY slick at night.
Regards.

We ran in to that same condition at Martin, Al. The last run can be very interesting.
