Norm & Rapid = New Project

Norm is ready to announce now that we have the funding in place.
Here is what he posted:
Right now there is a plan to have a new AA/FC operating out of Iowa next year. The car will be a 1979 Corvette, owned by Norman Wellman, driven and tuned by Rapid Randy Baker along with assistance from a "legendary tuner". We are going to run as many of the DRO Series races as we can and maybe a match race or two. There are many people on this board that have helped with this project and I really do appreciate it.
I will keep you guys in the loop. Right now we have the chassis, new body and are gathering the engine parts and pieces it takes to run one of these things.
I am really looking forward to putting my stamp on this project and seeing what happens with the new team.
On a "kind of cool note" the chassis is the very first funnycar I ever drove when Virgil owned it. It is the same chassis as in my avatar!
