And the arrival of the Draglist Nats East! A friend of mine yanked in a 300 pound tuna yesterday after their charter boat ran aground near the Oregon Inlet. One of the kids on board had to be airlifted to the hospital.

Heard about that Jim from a friend who lives there...fortunately the young man is OK after getting knocked cold and subsequently checked out and stiched noggin. That stretch of channel to the inlet is treacherous in the best conditions and the bottom changes from tide to tide, been out of it prob 40 times. Captains have to make a decision to putt it out and burn lots of the charters fishing time or get on plane and hope to stay in the tight shallow channel. This one took the latter option gamble and lost I heard.Been a great winter on the Blue fins.
