Mornin'.
Woke up to a phone call this morning from my Sister. Seems my brother Dave fell off a roof yesterday. No one around & couldn't reach anyone on the cell phone so he crawled to the truck & drover himself to the emergency room. He has a clean break in 1 foot (or ankle) and will need surgery on the other.

Thanks "T" & BP, He's had a run of bad luck the last few years. Cut some tendons in his forearm on a miter saw a few years ago, then nearly lost a thumb in a power tool encounter. But I think he my have outdone himself this time. I too hope he gets back to his old self, but I'm sure it will be a long road to recovery.
I was sort of hoping they would be stopping by here this week, as our Minister (been here 40 years) is retiring this weekend & Dave & he are good friends/golfing buddies. They didn't know if they wanted to travel on the Illinois winter roads, but with the added incentive of seeing Jaden I think they may have made the trip. Things can change quick.
