Going to hang up his starter button after this Sundays race @ Pomona.

I'll miss him...hope he enjoys his retirement. Heck, I can't think of a better job to have with NHRA than the one he's had! He was a great driver, too. WC1

They had the camera on him as he started the Top Fuel final. He hit the switch, watched the cars run, kissed the starter switch, pointed to the sky and set it on the ground.

Classy guy, all the best for him in his retirement.
