Playin' around with night shots

Postby pro70z28 » Wed Apr 18, 2012 11:03 pm

I took the camera out tonight & tried some time exposure shots. Street lights only , NO photoshop. Backyard shots are "stumble around in the dark" dark.

Downtown. Turned the camera just before releasing the shutter. Kind of a cool affect.

Truck taillights streaking down the road. 300mm lens, 100 ISO, F4, for about 20 seconds

They look awesome, ProZ! Atmosphere without going over the top...great job! I especially like the street shots with the street lights. They have a certain glow to them. Thanks for posting! WC1

Those are good Gary!
I have not done any of that kind of stuff since I switched to digital.
Used to do fireworks with the film camera.
Might have to try some of that stuff.
