Today is a wonderful day and I don't care what the weather is as my buddy is still alive. His operation turned into a quadruple bypass and so far he is doing well. He will have to cancel all of his Santa visits this year and that alone is going to break his heart for he was as big a kid as all of the children he visited. Mrs. Claus (my Sharon) is broken hearted too as she always enjoyed the children. There is one boy that has downs syndrome that Santa really has a friendship with so he will be heart broken not to see Santa but I am going to see if I can take Mrs. Claus up and try to smooth things over for him.

Hey wheels, Your story touched my heart. I just happen to know a guy with a santa suit. If you think seeing Mrs. Clause will satisfy the downs boy
fine. But If you think he needs to see a Santa............well I may be able to talk my friend into a quick road rip. Depends on when you need him.

Zappy I do appreciate your offer and you are one good friend but this little guy would
only accept Bear as the real Santa. I am going to go see Bear tomorrow and see if I
can get the little guys parent's phone number to see if we can do the Mrs. Claus only
thing. When he invited Santa in July to his graduation from the special school that he
attended he asked Bear, " Where did you get the truck and why didn't you use the reindeer?"
Bear told him that his friend loaned him the truck and that it was way too hot for the reindeer
to fly. The innocence of those kids may be something we want to emulate. Thanks Zappy.
