Afternoon group. 30 degrees and snow is on the way with very cold temps so we will be hibernating this weekend. I went for OT on the arm again this morning, stopped for a small breakfast, over to get some meds and then home to a barking dog. I received my laser printer yesterday and lugged it up the steps to the computer room and just finished installing it and the software. Very crisp print. I am going to order a Windows 10 and upgrade some other stuff so I will not have to worry about any compatibility issues for some time. Hope it is all goota news Gary. :D

'tanks Jack.

And yes, I am really gettin' bored. The aluminum splints the nurse put on my fingerz' have been diggin' into the palm of my hand. And I have to wrap them so loose as to not have throbbin' fingerz' that they just about fall off.
So, I bought some moldable plastic to make my own. It's the same stuff recyclable milk jugs are made of, but since I'm one handed I figured this would be a better rout to go.
Just dump the pellets into a pan of 140°f water until it's silly putty consistency. I made a mold, to get the basic shape, then kept trial fitting. I heat the area to reshape with a torch, remold & cool. Finally got it it to a comfortable shape.

It works.

NOW WHAT CAN I DO????????? :|

        Only you would make splints for yer fingerz.     You need to go do some yoga or take some relaxation classes! I was like that when I meet Sharon but she told me to slow down and smell the roses so now I can chill in a minute. Switch on, switch off. Wish I could do that with my brain though as it seems to be like a runaway diesel sometimes.

Hi all. Sounds like everyone is doing well. Denise and Jason are going to see Wicked at the Kennedy Center tonight as part of his birthday present. I get a nice quiet night at home! bp

SHeeesh Gary. I had a rig like that on my right hand back in 1969 only it was plaster. I had cut the Tenons to my little and ring finger.

Ouch that had to hurt. I can move my fingers a little so I hope the news isn't too bad. Just got a call a few minutes ago from the doctor's office to confirm Friday @4pm.
