Evening. PF Chang's is goota stuff!!!! Up to 81 today and it looks to be a nice one tomorrow too. I hit the floor this morning, had a cup of coffee, dressed and out the door to take the young man for his test. We stopped for breakfast then did a bunch of things one of which was to sell the Honda he bought just recently. That done I came home about 2:00 and was going to cook supper but decided otherwise. Steak house here we come!!!!!!!!!! Back home and relaxed on the back porch swing for several hours just soaking in the beautiful weather. Man, I just loved it. I am scheduled to fix the young man's exhaust in the morning and then I have to fix Sharon's bucket stuff. :D :D :D

Sounds like an awesome day. I worked from home today and had the windows open in a super 80-degree day. bp

Mornin'. Up early to see how much I can get done before the 1pm wedding of, friends of ours, daughter. 40.3°f and rain so far.

The list is long, where to start"? I may attempt to install the new vector inverter for the CNC spindle. The old Woods inverter died awhile back forcing me to use the 120v router. It will be nice to get the spindle back so I can have more speed control. The speeds on the Porter Cable are Fast, Faster & Fastest  . This new vector inverter goes from 0 to 400 hz and has good torque even at very low speed. I'll be able to spin the spindle as slow as a drill if I need to. That will surly help keep the bit cool on some materials like aluminum.

Time to make the donuts..............

Sounds like a packed morning, Gary!

Sorry about the shoulder and the rain, Boyd. Got to get 'er checked out. Terry was a respected gasser racer we knew all the way on this side of the continent, too. My best to all.

Another amazingly beautiful day here. Sunny and low 70s heading to 80. The husband of one Denise's teacher friends does water heater installations. He came over and noted that we just needed to replace our elements. He will do that for us for super cheap. So, we will get to stop taking showers with tea kettle water! LOL

Have a great weekend, everyone. Bill

Wrapped up the day by watching Denise and the Chesapeake Choral Arts Society sing songs from the WW1 era. She did a solo version of 'Someone to Watch Over Me" that was very nice.

Got new elements installed into the hot water heater and it's going to make it a few more years! We have hot water again!

Hope your Saturday was good and you have a nice Sunday. bp

I installed the new Vector Control Variable Frequency Drive for the CNC today and have been trying all day to get it to accept the motor parameters I'm punching in. I'm getting close to just punching it.  I'm you tubed out, none of the clips show the same model I have, so the instructions don't match up to the info I get on the display. Time to call it a day & give it a rest I guess. I have to go out there and shut the lights off, but judging by the pitter patter on the winderz' it will be a wet experience.

Morning. Songs a singing, Vectors not vectoring, pitter patter on the winderz', and Boyd's races getting rained out and life goes on........!
45/69 and rain. Yesterday I did some meal prep for Sharon and had a leisurely breakfast but the afternoon hours were kind of hectic. I had a guy that needed his exhaust fixed on the cheap so I told him I would fix it as best I could. He told me from the Y-pipe back it was leaking and I found that someone had tried to weld it and had no welding experience so I did what I could to alleviate the problem. When I got done and started the truck it was still really loud and I found that the left side of the exhaust had broken off at he manifold?????????? Well now, I just spent three hours silencing the right side of the truck and it is still loud! Nope, can't fix that. I rolled around under that truck half the afternoon, weld splatter burns on my arms, caught my shirt on fire, hurt my old body and I feel like I'm 95 when I try to walk... yep I had fun. NOT. Oh well, it just another day in paradise. Sharon came home from work and I told her she was going to have to get an appliance dolly to wheel me out to wherever we were going to eat. Sunday is the day of rest, thank heavens.

Good Morning. going to a Swap Meet today, Driving the MLC. It's still dirty from the trip to Poulsbo,so driving it in the rain today won't matter. :D Terry McHardy's COL was great. Several people spoke about him. About his Police Career, his racing and what an all round good person. Lots of catch up with old friends. after

Good morning!

Sorry about the tool frustration, Gary. I just got off the help desk line with my guys from work as my laptop wouldn't log on -- despite me doing just what the instructions said!

Sounds like a great day of activity in Ohio, Jack!

Have fun with your pals today, Boyd! bp
