Evening. Finally got the stair steps ceiling primed and will put the finish coat on tomorrow. Sharon did most of the trim and rolling the ceiling as I just cut it in on the edges. I took her for supper and ice cream afterwards. Good help is hard to find and much harder to keep. She said the ice cream sealed the deal and she isn't going anywhere!!!!

50.2°f and the sun is shining in a clear blue sky. They're laying gas line uptown. Looking goota'.

Got up this morning to make my usual Saturday morning coffee run, when I LQQKed out at the front door and it had a bright orange glow.
I hopped in the truck and headed out of town. Of course, by the time I made the 1/4 Mile trip the sky had already lost some of that glow. By the time I picked up the coffee and headed for home the sky was gray and the sunrise was just a brighter gray spot in the clouds. I don't think I have ever seen sun dogs, in the morning, but there they were in the western sky. They were even more spectacular in real time.

Howdy, everyone. Sunny and 68 today with high winds. In fact, so many that the ground is dry although it rained like crazy yesterday.

Jason, Denise and I are seeing the Avengers: End Game movie tonight. Hope you have a great weekend. bp

Morning. 45/57 with rain then tonight they are talking about snow!!! What's with that? We painted all the trim on the steps and doorways upstairs so other than a few pieces of baseboard we are on the move. In the afternoon the sun came out and I figured I better mow the lawn as Saturday was the only open spot for goota weather on the map. Tried to set outside on the porches but the wind was really cool and made it not so good for porch sitting. We got cleaned up and went for a fish dinner after dropping off some food at my oldest brother's house. Sharon loves to spoil him with home cooking as he has been a bachelor all his life. Got home and watched the Xfinity race on the DVR and called it a day. :D :D :D

Mornin'. Waitin' for Cheryl. SOP for Sundays. 32.0°f and sunny. Temps are spoz' to rebound some today. Maybe I'll turn the heat off again if it does. We've had it off for a week or so, but last night the temps dropped, so I caved in and flipped the switch. Cold rain all day yesterday, so I took the day off & did nuttin'. And that did even start 'til about 10am. They are getting snow up closer to Chicago. Cheryl talked to her folks in Iowa yesterday and they were in the middle of a snow storm.  It's comin' your way Jack.

Mornin;. 45.7°f with thunder and rain. Sounds like that repeats for the next 3 or 4 days according to Alexa. Cheryl took off for work this morning. Then around noon she's heading for Iowa and plans to return in about 10 days. Both her parents are scheduled for surgery just a few days apart.

Hope all goes well for Cheryl's parents Gary. Well Sunday we said our farewells to our preacher and his family as they are moving to the Columbus, Ohio area where he has a job with his home congregation. Hated to see him go as he is an excellent speaker and teacher but life goes on. We have a guy coming on Sunday to speak and we will see how it works out. Today I went for a follow up appointment with my family doctor on my heart situation then stopped for lunch at several different places before we found one open.... it is Monday after all and many places are closed. We came home and planted some flowers then I had to go to rehab while Sharon did some touch-up on the painting we did on Saturday. Missed a few spots! Back home and we talked while sitting on the front porch, I got up and pulled some dandelions then put everyone's trash cans away from the curb to their house on the block. Waited too long to eat supper and my sugar crashed so I held the couch down for a spell. Internet time now!!! :D :D :D

Hi, everyone. Podcast with FC racer Jeff Elliker was a blast. He was a lot of fun.

Good day of work but started with a funeral for a co-worker. She was a dear person who was a hard core runner and dieter. But had a rare genetic condition nobody saw. I really liked Charmaine and so did everyone else. It was truly a celebration of life.

Better times tomorrow. Getting up to 85 degrees. bp
