Take care of yourself there Jack (sounds like you are). I went to the hospital yesterday morning & had an ultra sound of my liver & pancreas. I'll find out what's up, maybe by the end of the week. This gettin' old stuff is sure an adventure. Picked up more shelving for upstairs and new shower/tub hardware for the guest bathroom. Gotta' give it a valve job as it was leakin'. We don't use that bathroom for showering, so when it started leaking I just shut the valves off in the basement. Now with the master bath renovation looming, I gotta' get it runnin' again.
Got all the "Gotta have 'em done today" signs done this morning. They "Say" they're picking them up this afternoon, but I'm thinkin' this afternoon will turn into tomorrow morning. We'll see. Cheryl's cookin' steaks for dinner tonight. I better get going on the shower, see if I can breath some new life into the ol' unit.

Happy New Year, everyone! Had a nice dinner out for Jason's birthday yesterday (Mama Stella's, of course). Then we came home for cake, ice cream, and games. Watched The Naked Gun (which Jason had never seen), and then crashed. He had to go to work this morning. Denise and I had a slow day.

Wishing everyone terrific and healthful 2019! Bill

31.3°f and cloudy. I have to finish up the guest bathroom shower overhaul this am. I ran a couple fittings short as the hardware store was closed yesterday.
Then, as long as I took time off work for that, I may as well just skip the rest of the day and get the rest of the upstairs shelves installed.
 Don't tell my boss.

Good morning! Watched the Avengers Infinity War movie last night so I slept in a bit.

Denise went back to work today after a nice Christmas break.

Congress and President meeting today to decide when I need to go back to work! :) bp

Evening'. 32.5°f and cloudy all day. I had a couple calls this morning for HOT sign jobs, so I relented and did those. By noon I was ready to build more shelves for upstairs. Got them pretty much done for now. Now it's time to organize all the good junk and pitch all the bad junk.

Great job, Gary! I spent the day in computer pursuits. Upgrading edrags.com, draglist.com and about to start work on 60s, 70s, and 80sfunnycars.com. John and I spent a bit of time trying to get his new Mac set up to do the radio show, but more work is needed!

Feeling sort of bad that Denise and Jason had to go to work but I didn't... NOT! :) bp

Mornin'. I think I'll play hooky one more day & go back to work a little on Monday. BP has inspired me.
Our plan is to pick up the bathroom tile tomorrow, but that will depend on us finding what we want and them having it in stock. So, maybe we will, maybe we won't.
Finally replaced the old office chair that was falling apart. Now, we'll have to see if it is kind to my sitter as the day goes by.

Afternoon group. Gary, you need to sneak up on that retirement, like you are doing, especially for you as you may go into meltdown if you would stop all at once. Like Sharon did, she took every Friday off for two and a half months prior to her retirement date. She's just fine now.
34/45 for the day with sunshine so far. Sharon and I went for breakfast and stopped to look at a few gold necklaces to go with some of her mom's stuff she inherited. Now we are working on taking down all the Christmas decorations. I helped her with the front porch stuff and the rest she will take down and put away but I will carry all the boxes down to the basement for storage. Yesterday I took Sharon down to the furnace to show her how to change the furnace filter and when I woke up this morning it was a little nippy in the house, I looked at the temp and it was 63 degrees! I forgot to turn the furnace on after changing the filter 15 hours ago. DUH. Coffee felt real good at that temperature. We are going to Canton to look at more necklaces and will stop for pizza on the way home. Yesterday we both went for rehab, her on her right shoulder and my left shoulder, this morning we looked like the senior center work out team with elastic bands hooked on the doors of the bedrooms doing our exercises.

Hi, everyone. Late start. Looks like JB has his computer issues fixed and we will do a test shortly.

Still working on the websites. Found I will have to move them to a new server as the program I'm using is too advanced for the old one.

Going to start looking at making minimum payments on everything as it looks like I may be at home for the long haul. bp

I changed oil in the P.U. cleaned it out inside & took it to the car wash for the outside. Even filled it up at the latest $1.99 a gal. price. I was planning to get the foyer winder' display taken down, but that didn't work out. I've had a few work related calls, but I'm letting them simmer until Monday.
Now it's time to head to the kids/grandkids to have some grandpa fun. Tomorrow we plan to take a road trip and see what the local tile places have for bathroom tile.
