Pool pump stopped working. Luckily, the guys were able to fix it with a new part instead of a full replacement!

Got a new winery in our neighborhood. One mile away! Denise and I will check in later this afternoon.

Jason got a job as a cook at our local pub where he and Denise often go for trivia.

MIR has the Super Chevy Show tonight. Trying to figure out if I'm going to go down. Probably should...

I spent the day finishing up the privacy fence in the backyard. buried the scalloped concrete block in sacrete just in case I bump 'em with the mower. Well , not quite finished, still have to haul the extra dirt away and bolt the rubber parking curbs down. Tomorrow after Church Cheryl & I are gonna' head to the nursery to see what we want to put in the planter. Then we might come home & plant the stuff or just take a snooze.

Looking good, Gary! Jason and I got home about the same time tonight. He was working in a hot kitchen and I was getting blast furnaced by jets down at MIR. Stood behind some and took live video for Facebook. Yikes! bp

Glad the truck show went well. Nice to see old friends at the jet drags last night: Al and Rich Hanna, Ken Hall, Terry Rosberg, Dick Estevez, Bob Hall, Pete and Cora Nebel (long time MIR racers and track personnel), and of course, Royce Miller. Plus new friends. Lots of videos and pics on FB. Wish I had one consolidated place I could share everything! FB has its limitations, but it's so doggone easy to use! bp

Got the green stuff picked up & we felt ambitious, so we planted it too. The trellises have roses (named rambling red rose) to vine up em'. there's a purple flowered thingy in the middle a couple orangish red flowering stalk dodads on the onside corners, with a few ground flower plant dealies filling in the gaps. Should LOOK better in a year or two after they've all had some grow time.
Got solar LED lights for the post tops coming in a couple days to light the area up at night.
