Morning. It is going to be a sweltering day here with temps in the 90's and humidity
levels that will darn near make you gasp for breath. But on with it anyway.
Sharon and I took our two neighbor girls, who play violins in the school orchestra, to see the Akron Symphony Orchestra Sunday night. We stopped at a burger joint called Retro Dogs and the kids ordered their sandwiches and we shared a pound of fires among the four of us. We were all stuffed after consuming all that. We made it to the Concert way early and got seats close to the stage and we all really enjoyed the show. The girls had to be home at 10:00 so we had to leave early to make it home and everybody enjoyed themselves. That night my stomach felt squeeze and never got to sleep till 5:00 in the morning then spent all day yesterday dealing with food poisoning. Had to be close to the bathroom all day. You know if I was a bad person they wouldn't have to put me in jail. All they would have to do is make me watch TV all day and I would go out of my mind or shoot myself after about three days. A little of that goes a long way. Whew!

Morning. 78 today and oh so nice. Washed and waxed the barge yesterday for 5 1/2 hours. It
was a mess. It is all spit shined and stuffed in the garage never to come out till the rains are
gone this weekend. Going to see Solid Rock at Quaker City this Saturday if the monsoons don't
set in as predicted. If you haven't been keeping up with the latest on Dragway 42 upgrades go to
the website and see what they are planning to do. It will rival any drag racing facility out there
if they finish it as proposed. Water cooled first 300 feet, banked hillside for seating, multi-level
tower with walk over bridge beneath and all sorts of good stuff. The nation's NO. 1 worst track
will be returned to one of the best. Ohio may once again be the hub of drag racing as back in the
day? Only time will tell. :D
