I rewired my whole house after Sharon and I got married. It had a coal furnace in it originally so when I would go up in the attic I came down looking like I had been working in the mines all day. Sharon helped me feed all the wires to the attic and we yelled at each other down the opening for the vent pipe. When I moved in the house had a 60 amp fuse box with those screw in fuses. I knew I needed to upgrade it and ran into a deal. When I had the store I had several very old earth moving toys and this gentleman would come in every couple of months and check them out. One time he came in and had a jacket on with a name of an electric repair company and I asked him if he worked there? He told me he owned the company so I made him a deal that I would give him all the toys if he would install a new 200 amp box for me. He told me that was a deal and when did I want it done. I told him whenever he wanted to do it. He ran a new wire from the pole, installed a new service mast, 200 amp box,new GFI outlets in the kitchen, new electric range wire and wired the laundry room. That is a normal cost of about $1000 and I only had $125.00 in the toys. I love bartering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Morning. 8 degrees here but up to 32 Accuweather says? I bought tires for the Honda yesterday
and have an appointment for a four wheel alignment on Monday. I see where they have a big race
scheduled for Dragway 42 in August so they better hurry up and get some construction done. I have
heard rumors of Norwalk buying land to move to but no proof yet. :D

Good Morning, cold and fog. I'm driving the MLC to a Celebration of Life this morning. My friend Mike was 8 yrs older than me.I met him in 1966. He was my first Mentor into Hot Cars and Drag Racing. He'd had a bad stoke several years ago,so has been in assisted living ever since.

Sorry for your loss, Boyd. Sounds like a great man.

Brother Tim came over last night. We burned through lots of wine and cordials. You guys would love him. Need to ensure he comes to the DLNs this year.

Cold but sunny here today. bp

Sorry for your loss Boyd.
We seem to have about 6" of snow on the ground & it's still coming down. Wind is supposed to pick up & temps dropping this afternoon with snow ending Monday morning. Church has been reduced to one service at 10:30am so we'll all be hoping in the 4x4 truck, going over the river & through the woods.
At 34°f & calm winds, it looks like Narnia out there right now.

Well we just got an email that Church is cancelled altogether now. I guess we'll just light a fire & sit this one out.

Stay warm everyone! We were supposed to get snow tomorrow but the temp has been revised to 52, so it will be a lot of rain. BUT... the night time temps will be 17, so guess what? Ice rink time... bp
