Never a dull moment and the honey do list continues to grow!

Denise is singing tonight at a Madrigal Christmas Dinner. Em and Jason will be going with me to we'll have the family together. Should be fun.

Enjoy the weekend! bp

Say hi to the gang for us BP.

I replaced the short cable from the pre amp to the antenna, the one that looked like it may have a leaking seal. And I'll be if that didn't fix it. Cable pin was rusty, rusty, rusty. New cable ends are wrapped with sealing tape and sprayed with leak sealer. You know the stuff the " I sawed this boat in half" pitchman sells on TV. Shouldn't fail this time I hope.

Since it's very cold up there, I decided to button it up and finish when the weather is a little more forgiving. At least we have all the stations back that we had before the seal problem. Metal tower is a little too chilly for this old guy.

I think I found the reason the rotor doesn't work anymore. I'm no TV repairman mind you but the wire running up the tower to the rotor LQQKs suspect to me. I rewired the rotor and ran the wire down under the deck for now, another warmer day project.

Now it's time to take the kids to PF-Chang's. That sounds like a much more fun job.

Evening folkz. Gary, that wire looks like some I replaced on an electrical job way back that had some knob and tube in place. Don't know how it kept from burning the place to the ground???
Lower 20's this morning and only up to 27 today. Missed a few days as I was on the run with Sharon. We went to Cleveland yesterday to look at a Mercury Grand Marquis with only 51K on the clock but it was a rough 51K so we left it there and came home. I think we have came to the conclusion that we will never find another one as nice as ours so we are going to have it repaired. I will cost more that what we could buy another one for but it is solid and we know what we have. It was the proverbial "Little Old Lady's" car when we bought it. Today we spent the whole morning deciding what we are going to do to refurbish the living and dinning rooms along with the kitchen. The first two are mostly cosmetic but the kitchen is basically a gut job and rebuild except for the appliances. Sharon and her sister had a wonderful time down in North Carolina at the Biltmore estate and I have been looking at pictures for the last several days as Sharon is like a Japanese tourist when she goes anywhere. Burn up that camera phone girl!

Yea Jack, the insulation fell off the wires like frost off branches on a sunny morning, when I pulled it down.

It's Sunday mornin'. Time to wait for Cheryl. 14.2°f. Looks like the sun will show up soon, no clouds.

Yikes. That looks like some scary barbed wire!

Fun time seeing Denise sing at the Renaissance Christmas dinner last night. Then we all came back here and enjoyed the evening.

Took Em to the airport today... she is on a two-week trip for business and pleasure. bp

Mornin'. 13.3°f Calm and foggy. Everything has a heavy white coat of frost.
Went to Amazon last night to finish up the Christmas shopping list. Traffic was practically non existent and the cold weather didn't seem to bother me.

Vitamin C, Vicks vapor rub and liquids for you bp.
Down in the 20's last night and up to 40 today. Overcast skies just letting the sun peek through so no sunshine power today. Yesterday I went to my buddy's house and we went for lunch at a new BBQ place but it was just blah so that is off the list of lunch places to eat. Sharon went out while I was gone to do a few errands and had to call me as the S 10 would not start. She tried everything that I would have and then called me to get the magic secret on how to get it started. While we were talking she eventually got it started and made it home. I know it has been getting hard to start sometimes so I went on YouTube and found that GM had a problem with the ignition switch and found how to fix it which involves some vibration and twisting or an air chisel and some severe persuasion!!!!! I will talk to my neighbor who is an old locksmith to get the low down. Today we went to WalMart to reproduce some pics from mom's album on the one hour plan and we made a 6x8 of our neighbor's house with the maple tree in full color to give to her for Christmas. Returned hour and half later and nope they are no where near being done so later today we will stop back. Sharon is continuing with her decorating for Christmas and I am on the puter to stay out of her way. :D :D :D

Sounds nice! I recovered a bit on Tuesday and went in after taking Monday off. I did eat a tangerine on Monday so that was my vitamin C! Recovering a bit more every day. Working from home on Friday so I just need to get through another workday. bp
