Happy Thanksgiving everybody. We're having our Thanksgiving today, so yesterday was spent installing the new entry door. The winder' above has been leaking between the wall & brick face, which is what took out the door. Found a crack in the vinyl winder' frame that turned into about a quarter size hole when I touched it. I caulked the hole, every visible seam & joint in the window. Looks kinda fuggly but at least it should hold out the water for a couple weeks 'til the new unit comes. Had to tear the wall apart & dig out the bad wood then coat the area with Killz. I won't rebuild the wall or close it up until I'm sure the problem has been fixed. It't dry today and we're getting rain. Hope it doesn't get too cold too soon.

New door needs to be trimmed out, but at least it's functional for when the grandkids go over the hillz' & through the woods to Grandma's house in a little while. & Grandpa too.

Wow that looks nice. It reached 63 yesterday and is 54 right now but by tomorrow night it is going to be in the 30's. Sharon and I are planning to go to Sharon, PA and see some Christmas stuff tomorrow and I found a little hole in the wall that serves excellent prime rib. More food, just what I need!!!!! :D :D :D

Prime rib??!! Oh Good Morning. It'a beautiful morning here at the ocean. Gary was the leak a result of the storm,or has it been leaking a while before?

Boyd it was leaking before by the looks of the wood, but the storm made the leak more obvious. I guess it's a good thing in a way, at least we found it & can get it corrected.

Beautiful pics! We had a slow Thanksgiving day, but enjoyed it. It was in the mid-60s both days here. I took advantage of the weather and took long walks outside both days. Thanks to Denise for a great feast upon my return! bp
