Hi. Nope! As pleasant as this is, it's a leadership course jointly offered by my agency and Johns Hopkins University. We study the decisions the Gettysburg generals made and their effects. We were briefed by one of the 81 living congressional medal of honor winners today, plus General Jack Davis, who has commanded Marine troops of up to 20 thousand members. Learning a lot and really enjoying it. Tomorrow we will walk Pickett's charge and Little Round Top. bp

I really enjoyed it, Wheelz, so yes, it was a nice vacation away from the office. Walked the actual path of Pickett's Charge today and stood where the 20th Maine held off the rebels on Little Round Top. They are still teaching the lessons learned there at modern military academies... back home now, but even Washington DC rush hour can't dampen my spirits! :D bp

Howdy everybody. We lost our internet connection after the 15th, so youv'e been spared vacation pics. They were suposed to re-set the router, but apparently never got around to it.

We strolled up & down Branson Landing & watched the nightly light & water show down by the lake.
