Mornin'. 31.1`f, cloudy, I 'hink.
Just got back from the ER. We got a call about 2:30 this morning that JD passed out. :?:
Turns out he had a pinched nerve in his neck. Ouch. He's home and has been pumped full of happy juice, so all is well for now. 4:30 now, so I may as well stay up, I told myself. Chances of my making it all the way 'til tonight without a nap are slim though.

Ah ha, do I hear snoring coming from the west?????
Up to 38 today and that will be an improvement from yesterday. It was rather chilly. Yesterday I went to have lunch with my buddy and we stopped at Menards so I could get some new under cabinet lights for the kitchen. I wanted florescent T5's and as we all know everyone is switching to LED's. I looked them up online and they had 9 in stock but when I got there I asked the clerk about them and he drug me all over the lighting section to tell me they didn't have them. I pulled them up on my phone and he went and looked again and nope they didn't have any. So I bought something similar to what I wanted and went home to install them. It went fairly well on the install as I only had to move one screw for each of the lights and we now have new lights. We went to get Lola and by the time her mom showed up I was wore out from all that energy. Wish I could bottle it up and sell it to all my old friends! I'd be a millionaire many times over in no time flat. Sharon and I had homemade vegetable soup for supper with some pretzels we bought from Lola and topped it off with some leftover
Halloween candy.

Well I'll make it to 11pm with no nap, but that's going to change in a couple minutes.

I played hooky today and worked on the Christmas set for the foyer winder'. I bought some t-light lanterns and made the poles out of copper & PVC pipe laying around the shop. The rest of the stuff is old sign material that I hadn't had time to throw out yet. :?: Got a little tweaking to do tomorrow and then it will be ready for the Christmas season. I'm hoping the weather cooperates tomorrow so I can get the outside lights up too. Then all I have to do is flip the switch after Thanksgiving.

33.8°f and cloudy, spoz. to get snow flurries later today. Cheryl's in Iowa checking on her folks, back Sunday.

Got all the punch list stuff done. Now I just have to clean up the mess.

It's starting to mist outside, so I may get the outside light up before it gets worse. Then I'll clean up inside "later"

Mornin'. 31.5°f Cloudy with a fresh dusting overnight. Sunday mornin', but I'm not waiting for Cheryl today, as she's more than likely on her way home from Iowa about now, or will be shortly. She plans to stop at the Little Brown Church on the way, weather permitting. I told her to tell them hi for me. It's sorta' become our second church as it's the prefect stop off point for a break heading home.
Out for lunch after Church, then home for me today. I have a place picked out for next year's Anniversary trip. I had 2 places in mind going into this year's trip, so this is the other one. Days like today are good research days, cuz' I don't have to worry about Cheryl coming in the office and seeing our secret destination on the screen.

Morning. bp, you need some down time to recuperate from that consent work schedule you are on. It got up to 43 yesterday and it is only going to make it to 38 today. I don't know who the genius was that laid out the screen format for the NASCAR race on Sunday but what a mess. It turned my 55" TV into one 24" and several 12" screens. I watched about 30% of the race and shut it off. I had a guy put a down payment on the 84 Chevy truck on Saturday and he is to come back today to pick it up. Hate to see it go but it isn't doing me any good so bye bye. Now I have to concentrate on the GMC dump truck and get it on down the road. I have needed to thin the herd out for years and never got around to it. After church on Sunday Sharon and my buddy went to do a Santa and Mrs. Claus gig for a small group of kids and adults. One of the kids was Lola and we still don't know if she recognized Sharon in her gray wig and Mrs. Claus outfit. Sharon and I removed a shelving unit from the upstairs bedroom and put her mom's chest of drawers in its place so we will have a little more storage room up stairs and had to take a breather after that. Ready to start another week of adventures with Sharon's retirement and see what it brings. :D :D :D
