Cheryl and her brother have their folks back home and are getting them settled in. They're looking into lift chairs and life alert, to extend their at home time a little longer. They don't want to go to assisted living until they absolutely have to. Can't say as I blame them, but...
Cheryl will be coming home Friday she says.
Went to the hospital for an MRI tonight. Nothin' serious, just checkin' the rotating assembly.

Gary, do you need it balanced???????
44 now and 27 tonight and about mid 40's tomorrow before the 50's come on Saturday. Sharon and I went shopping on Tuesday and stopped for lunch at a new place. Pretty good food and had a successful shopping trip. Yesterday my buddy was to come down for oxygen but we had about 6 inches of snow show up over night and he cancelled. Sharon and I hit the sidewalks about 10:00 and did the neighborhood routine with the snow blower and shovel. Took us about an hour to get it done then we shoveled some spots for our parking behind the house. Bible study at 3:30 then home to watch a movie. Today my buddy showed up for lunch and some oxygen bottles and Sharon just got home with Lola and later we are expecting her mom here with pizzas for a Pizza and a Movie night. Sharon is over in the bedroom showing Lola her new clothes... they are like two sisters all the time talking to each other. Life is good. :D :D :D

Hi, everyone. Sounds like good happenings in Ohio and Illinois. Yes, the moving company was a mess. We got to Omaha the next day and sister-in-law had a bunch of strong young men from their church there to help us unload. Made quick work of it and I got the U-Haul back just in time for the latest storm to hit town. They were supposed to get 6-9 inches overnight but I think they only got about 5! :) Anyway, Denise and I got her parents settled in on Wednesday. Unpacked about half the boxes, got the TV and electronics mostly set up, got the phones set up, and built and moved all the large furniture into place. Then Denise and I had to hit the airport. First leg to St. Louis was great. And then our connecting plane was late leaving Chicago -- by four hours! So we camped in the St. Louis airport. Had dinner and then Denise dispatched me for chocolates. PS. She hurt her knee while moving, so she was in a wheelchair for the entire trip. Got us good seats on the planes, but we were a sight with me pushing her with two backpacks on and pulling a roller behind us. Looked like the Beverly Hillbillies! Got home at 2:15 am on Thursday morning. I called in sick and took Denise to the ER the next day. Nothing broken or torn. She saw a specialist today and it was an inflamation-generated cyst behind her right knee. They said it will drain this weekend if she keeps the leg propped up. Guess I'm doing the grocery shopping this week! (Already did the laundry yesterday). Had to catch up on deadline items at work, so I was up all night until 6 am. Sent that off, grabbed two hours of sleep, and was back up at 9 for another meeting. I am READY for the weekend! BP

Wow, you guys had an adventure BP. Tell Denise, hope she recovers quick. She has to be in shape for the DNL's in, what is it now, about 4 months?
Cheryl made it home. I got all my deliveries made, installs done, etc.
One of the jobs today was to letter a truck. They failed to mention, the truck had old lettering on it that had to be removed first. That pushed my schedule back, so I was running late the rest of the day. Last job was 12 signs attached to jersey barriers at the truck parking place. Got late enough that the yard gate closed for the day.  As it turned out, I caught the last guy leaving. He was nice enough to hold the gate open while I ran for the truck. I only had 2 energy bars and a bottle of water with me, so I didn't want to stay in there until Monday morning. That just wouldn't do.

Rise-n-Shine. I have nearly the whole day to work on the Bathroom remodel. I say nearly, because we've got to go to Ethan's Birthday party later.

35.6°f, spoz' to be a rainy day.

bp, you don't need a weekend you need a weeks vacation!!!!!!!!!! Denise needs a week to recuperate too. You guys get in some unusual situations for sure. Thank heavens you had all those youngins' to help you with the moving. If you would have had the Draglist crew out there we would still be unloading stuff.   Good thing they didn't lock you up and throw the key away Gary!!!
37/49 with rain later on in the afternoon. Sharon and I went shopping again yesterday and she came home with several pairs of shoes. Payless Shoesource stores are going under and she went crazy with all the bargains. We came home and she had to show me how they looked then we chilled out the rest of the day. Today we are going to lug the small air compressor up the steps to finish the master bedroom trim installation this coming week so that will be done before the good weather shows up as we will be outside cleaning the garden. I have the master bedroom closet lighting to finish too so we will start that this week too. Next week is going to be busy with doctor's appointments, blood work and then nails for Sharon. She is so thrilled to have long nails as where she worked you couldn't have nails. Ordered a new battery for Sharon's phone as we discovered that the original one was swelling up and pushing the screen out. Whew, that could have been a bad situation! She will be in withdrawal for a few days till it gets here. The Health app on our phones keeps reminding us of our "Steps" or activity and my phone lays on the counter in the kitchen more than in my pocket so I don't get many steps.... I think I will put it on a paint shaker and see if it goes into meltdown with about 10,000 steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, guys! Denise is feeling better. I slept for 14 straight hours last night, so I'm on my way back. Grocery shopping, one more load of laundry today, and final review of a contract for work. Typical day! :)
