Morning folkz. Another 90 degree day ahead, whew almost dried up yesterday. I am going to attack the LED sign today and see how much I can get done. I went down and surveyed it yesterday, built some 2 x 4's to hold the Lexan cover up so I could lower the LED panel to get to the controller and extract the guts and replace with updated parts. The side that faces East is where I need to work so I will work till I can't touch anything because of the heat then call it a day. It gets a little iffy working from an 8' step ladder so I hope I don't have to do a triple gainer with a half twist from up there! I could use Geeves today, don't hink Gary is going to come over here though? :D :D :D

Mornin'. 79.9°f and sunny, so it may warm up some.
I sure did get behind for only being gone a few days.
That's a cool avatar Mike.

Morning. Hotel on wheels Mike. Boyd, stay strong buddy.
Another hot one in store for us today. It is 72 degrees at 6:00 in the morning with heavy thunder storms on the way by 10:00. I had the sign wide open yesterday and removed all of the old electronic stuff then proceeded to start the replacement but found that none of the circuit boards had large enough mounting holes so I had to pack everything up and leave. Not bad as it was 11:00 and the temps were in the high 80's and the humidity was drenching me. I will drill out all the mounting holes today and get after it next week. Today is lunch somewhere and some grocery shopping. I need to transplant some stuff in the garden this morning before it rains too. :D :D :D

Mornin'

Wheelz, it only has two different time zones. We decided against the one that had three, that was just too big.

Mornin'. It was still 86°f last night about 9pm, when a strong wind picked up, it started to rain and the temp. dropped to 70 in a matter of minutes. 69.8°f and cloudy this mornin'. I have a billboard to update out by the interstate this morning, a realtor is striking out on her own, so the sign needs a new logo and info. Hope it stays cloudy 'til I'm done. The rest of the day will be spent in the A/C.

Didn't quite make it. Sun was out for about the last 45 min. of the billboard job. I just about roasted. Running a high density foam CNC sign for a local resort entrance. Gotta have it done by tomorrow. Going to play with the grandkids as soon as the CNC shuts off.
Later.
