Hey, Zappy! Yes! There is snow on the ground right now but it's getting up to 52 for Super Bowl Sunday and then 63 on Monday! So it will be very wet around here. And then high 40s, 50s, and 60 again by Friday. Weird. It finally gets cold again starting Friday night. bp

I can't believe Zap of the Desert actually took enough time from the pool to send us something!!!!!!
Up to 24 already and up it will continue to go. Stayed in the house last couple of days, except to blow the snow from the sidewalks, as I am wearing a heart monitor but we did venture out last night for dinner. I acquired a cold a couple of days ago so it is dragging me down but nice weather is coming and I will get outside tomorrow. Can't stand more than a couple of hours of TV and it drives me nuts.... er more nuts.

All caught up on outside sign installs. Had to wade through a slushy snow bank to reach one site, so me toes are soaked. It was chilly but tolerable today. Finished up the signs and headed to Menards for a list of stuff. When I came out the skies where clear and the sun was warm, about 40°f. That's the way it goes sometimes. I figured I'd run home and push the snow off the driveway before I put the Bobcat away. But, when I got home it was almost gone.
Next couple days with warm rain in the forecast, the rest should be gone. I 'hink I'll work on the bathroom for awhile, maybe until dinner is ready? Once I consume food, the ambition meter will probably take a nose dive.

Had a 3.5 Gal. pail of Hydro Barrier (liquid membrane) for the shower show up on Thursday. I asked UPS, please don't send until later, as the contents cannot freeze. They sent it, and it was a solid block of frozen stuff. Got another one coming Feb 7-8. Weather looks much better for this trip....I hope.
Comes from Pacoima, CA, so I don't suppose they understand how cold it gets here. I 'hink they should hire ZAP as a consultant, to explain to them, midwest weather in the winter.

Mornin'. 43.7°f With rain and wind out of the south. Time to fire up my last regular season work week. Retirement is Friday. Next week will probably be an overtime work week with little change in the schedule.     .......But who knows. :?:

Morning. Now that is something that I can't envision with you... retirement!!!! Maybe in theory but I hink if you would stop all your functions would overload and explode.
Up to 55 today and I have already been out with Sharon to take our living wills to several doctor's offices, stopped for some Zicam and had the car washed then home to clean the windows. Had to fill the tank on the snow blower in preparation for the next round of bad white stuff. Sharon is in for a few days of bland diet as she is getting a colonoscopy on Tuesday. I hink I will have to go somewhere for dinner tonight so I don't torture her while eating food. I want to get the battery charged on the old Mercruiser so it will start later this afternoon and maybe take the dog for a walk while the good weather is still here. Looked in the garden for anything that might pop through the ground but no takers yet. :D :D :D

Amazing day today. Sunny and 66 at one point. Back to the 50s tomorrow, but can't complain about that, 30s this weekend. bp
