Good morning! Sunny here. Em made it to Kent, Ohio, last night and will arrive sometime today. The guest room is all ready but we have some garage cleaning to do to ensure I can fit all her apartment stuff in! bp

Morning folkz. 21 now and 34 later. No snow till tomorrow then only a few inches. Well like any good husband would do I share with my wife, she now has a cold with sniffles and stuffed up head. I did a good job. We can't get to the doctor's till Monday so I am sharing my meds with her as she only has a half days vacation left so missing work is not a good thing. If needed she can take a point but she doesn't like to do that for her record. We will hibernate for the next few days and see if we can get her all better. :D :D :D

Hi, Boyd and Susan! Howdy, Gorilli! I hope Sharon feels better soon.

Just found out sister Judy gave Em a couch for her apartment, so even MORE stuff to try to fit in the house! That's going in the living room I think... bp

Morning. 33 now and up to 38 so we have had snow earlier this morning that will be turning to sleet then to rain later. Sharon and I did nothing yesterday and will continue on the same plan today. The Dish is out and I don't know if it is due to snow on the dish or the whole system is down but if it is the system they better have it up by 6:00 for the Super Bowl or heads will definitely be rolling. I don't care but a lot of sports fans will be super upset. The DVR is full of This Old House and other programs so we will have entertainment to watch. :D :D :D

Just got back from Church. It was freezing rain when we got there, very slippery, and is snowing hard now. We had a tailgate party in the Family Life Center after services, with the '85 Bears playing the Pats on the big screens. We stayed for lunch and then headed home as we had inside information on how that game would turn out. lol. 18.0°f, We'll be hibernating this afternoon, watching the snow fall.

Yesterday I got a little done on the foyer upstairs, then spent the rest of the day gluing up oak boards for the CNC to make parts for the window & setting up cut files to make the parts. Maybe do that next week depending on the work schedule. If I don't keep at it, it may go the way of the camaro project. eeek.

I cheated a little and bought pre-made corbels for the window shelf. For the price and time it would take to make my own, I couldn't compete with the price they were asking.
