Pizza with Daryl and Heidi last night but I only lasted an hour. Doctor appointment tomorrow to see if they can fix the pain. Lost 10 lbs. just sitting on the couch.

Take care Jack. Hope the doc gets you fixed so you can get feelin' better.

I put the winder' job on the CNC last night. It ran for a while, but then stopped when the wire loom bound up, and stalled the stepper motors. So I just shut it down. This afternoon I redid the wire loom support back to the stock set up as it was the fastest fix to get it running again. I plan to run the first operation and shut it down, just to make sure it's working, so far so goota". I have a Cable Wire Drag Chain for it, but that will take a bit of fabricating to get it installed, so this will get me by for now. I'll be working in the office tomorrow, so I plan to fire it up in the morning to do the detail carving (that takes time) and watch it from the office monitor while I work on signs. I'd like to get the trim done A.S.A.P. because the busier I get with signs, the less likely it is I'll get it done. Then it's tough to get motivated to go back to it later. At least that seems to be my M.O.

Very cool today, but sunny. A group of us went to Chili's for lunch after Church, and before we knew it, it was 2:30p. That seems to be the group's M.O.

Had fun on the show with Animal Jim tonight. Cleaned out the office and found Gary's banner from the Danny Miller draglist nats. I opened it up and it about went from one end the house to the other! WOW... that thing is big! Very cool. bp

Mornin'. (or early noon). 51.1°f and sunny @ 10:31a. I worked on signs until 8:30a, then headed to doc's for MRI results. Allz' well. Picked up a couple banners from a real estate agent in the same building as the doc's office, headed home for an early lunch and then off to letter 4 tractor trailers. They want me to install vinyl someone else cut, so I told them I would look at it with no promise I would do it. If it looks easy, I'll do it, if it looks like a pain, ''I'm retired''.

I got the (4) trailers lettered. But, what they failed to mention, is there's 3 more on the lot with about 6 more on the way.

Oh, well. That's my version of retirement.

Finally done, I think, with the bathroom remodeling. I still need to relocate the tile-in drain cover, that I apparently put in a safe place, so I wouldn't loose it  . I painted the winder' parts with a white base coat. Then yellowish tan with a sponge to get a texture. Then drizzled gold metallic over it to get the veining. Gave all that a clear coat to seal it. Then painted over that with dark brown and used a rag to wipe it back off a little at a time, until I got the patina I wanted. Let that dry and gave it a final clear coat with a little pearl mixed in to give it a iridescent look and blend all the layers together a little. Got a little more pearl in the clear coat than I intended, but it's not getting redone now. It's just the master bathroom, so Cheryl and I are about the only people that have to look at it.

It's all done with HDU foam board, except for the winder' sill, which is PVC.
