Morning. Are you going to record Ethan playing the recorder or you just going to enjoy the recorder being played by Ethan or are there other options? 34/53 with rain later in the day. I just took a care package to my neighbor guy of potato salad and potato soup, I think he thought it was Christmas. Went up to the garage to retrieve a few things and it is a bit nippy out there yet but I have to rake the sticks up so I can mow the yard sometime this week. We had the dog to the groomers yesterday and she got a buzz cut as she is having some skin problems and she looks like a skinned rat. I can't take her out with me today or she will freeze to death. :D :D :D

Sure wish I would have thought about the Go Pro Jack, I could have recorded the recorder. Ethan had a fun time performing, and we went out for milk shakes after to celebrate so he had double fun. They called it karate class. For each song they mastered they got a belt. That's what the strings are for on his recorder. Ethan made it all the way to black belt, so He had 3 solos.

Morning. That second picture brought a smile to my face. If he is half as talented at music as his grandpa is at making things he should be playing concertos within the year. 36/44 today with rain now turning to snow then cloudy with sunshine at 8:00? That's what it said, sunshine at 8:00 PM but the sunset is at 8:09! I'm going to be really busy for 9 minutes today. Yesterday I vacuumed the house, raked the yard and picked up all the sticks then mowed half of the yard before the battery died in the mower (electric). Made potato cakes for supper with leftover pulled pork but no dessert. Sharon must be having a sweet tooth moment as I saw chocolate chip cookies being thawed out on the counter this morning. She gets a craving for chocolate and it is not safe for man nor beast if you get in her way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "STAND AWAY" from the chocolate.
I haven't heard from the youngin' for quite some time. He hasn't even called and told me he is hungry! Now that is strange. I think Heidi locked him in the garage without a phone or internet and made him build Mini Pete's till he can't stand up? Maybe I will have to go rescue him next week and take him out for some BBQ sammichez. :D :D :D

Mornin'. Snow overnight again. 32°f so I spoz' it will melt today. Cheryl heads to Iowa today for the weekend. Her folks had 4" of snow from a few days ago, an now they got another 7-8". That's pretty odd even for Northern Iowa this time of year, although it has happened in the past I guess. Off to get some breakfast & fire up another workday.

Ethan usually doesn't like getting up in front of a crowd, but he was eating it up last night.

Same here Pro Z, we woke to the ground white, but it melted by mid day. Weatherman says warming & sunshine the next few days. We'll see. It was nice this afternoon.

Hi, everyone!

Great photos, Gary! We have another musician in our group!

Gorilli taking care of folks as usual.

Have a great Friday, Boyd! Enjoy the event and dodge the raindrops!

Sunny and 54 here today. Going to remain cool (for us) for the next ten days with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Very unusual for DC.

Have a great weekend! bp
