Morning folkz. 71 and a possible thunder storm but such a nice day in the works. Well the Lincoln Highway trip was a success but our Garmin went into a nervous break down and was guiding us in some strange Garmin mapping that I didn't understand. It almost got pitched out the window by Sharon. We forgot to load the Atlas so we had to revert to the old school way and ask people for directions. Yes, smart phones are in the near future as I will not dump a few hundred dollars into another Garmin!!!! We stayed in the last remaining Motor Court on the Lincoln Highway in its entirety from coast-to-coast on Friday night and my brothers were totally surprised. Luckily the temps were decent as this place was just as in the old days with no AC, knotty pine paneling, tight shower accommodations and that old time charm. This trip also turned into a continual experience of very good food as we stopped along the way. I had to watch myself or my sugar level would have sky rocketed out of sight. The trip was to take two days but turned into three and we got home on Sunday about 3:00 with only one hiccup along the way. A lady was texting on her phone and started to pull out in front of me so I had to break in the new rotors and pads on the Mercruiser. Spilled liquids in the back seat were the only casualties. Good trip, good times and memories made. Cool! We went through Greensburg on this trip so we will be back in a few weeks.

Mornin. Sounds like you guys had a great trip Jack. We got back yesterday afternoon from our trip to Iowa. Got Mom & Dad's new vase installed. I warned the other family members that if they change flowers in the future they will need to bring a 7/16" wrench    There's 4 set screws at the top to keep the flowers from blowing away since this is out in the country, and one more locking the base into the receiver. Should be pretty bullet proof now. I hope.

Hi everyone. Nice pix as always, Gary. Lots going on in Jack's neighborhood. Howdy, Boyd. Finally send my check to Lady Linda for the cruise tonight. Slipped my mind!

Have a good week, everyone! bp

Morning peoplez. 54 right now and it may make it to 70 today. I updated the Garmin last night and it took almost two hours to download all the updates then another few hours to install them. I hope that takes care of its erratic behavior that happened over the weekend. I am going to my buddy's house and then we are going to lunch around noon. I have to stop and take some pictures of my next oldest brother's 40 Buick convertible after lunch then home to do some garden maintenance. We are having our July 4th party on the 2nd this year as a few of our family are working the midnight shift or tons of overtime so Tuesday wouldn't work out for them. The weather forecast is looking favorable so it will be a good party. Nice work on the vase Gary. Mom and Dad would be proud.

Howdy! Busy bee, Gary! Why don't you vacation in lovely Pittsburgh? :)

Looking forward to it! Getting all my ducks in a row to go but of course will bring all laptops and phones!

Cool this morning here, too, but for me that meant 64. Lovely later today. bp
