On the website they sighted bad weather for the cancellation.

Low fifties, humidity in the 20's, sunny & light breeze? We were looking forward to a "best yet time" with that kind of "Bad Weather" :?:

Maple Grove is in their second weather delay for the afternoon. Morgan Lucas was a little upset about rain at the top end, shortly after the weather delay banner went up.

Friday we are taking off for a weeks vacation. As usual for our anniversary trips, I never tell Cheryl where we are going, just how many days to pack for. Today I told her I booked a hotel 2.5 hours off course, so, guessing the destination by the direction we are leaving is futile.

Actually going off course will have us taking a back road through a National Forest on Saturday. Hope we have nice blue skies for a scenic trip.

Thanks BP. All the reservation addresses are locked in the Garmin, I'm ready. Well except for a bunch of work that needs to be done before we leave.

Sad new here. This last weekend was Octoberfest. Last night around 7:30 city workers were cleaning up, when a Drunk driver hit them. Daryl (friend of mine through doing city signs for him) was hurt the worst loosing a leg & possibly both. 2 are critical but stable & the 4th refused treatment. Happened just 4 blocks from us, but the ambulance comes from the opposite side of town & the school where they air lifted him from is also across town, so we didn't hear anything about it until this morning. Sad end to what should have been a fun weekend.

Sorry about your friends, Gary. Hope they recover fully.

Fall has definitely hit here, too. High of 52 degrees yesterday. I finally broke down and put the 'heat' settings on the thermostats instead of the 'cool' settings. bp
