Mornin'. I completely missed the NASCAR race. Sounds like maybe I didn't miss much.

Start up a short work week. Might hang some lights first, since it's 30.4°f clear and calm out right now.

Evening folkz. It has only been in the low 30's for the last couple of days and it is gloomy. Yesterday Sharon and I went to Canton to buy stuff for Thanksgiving then had lunch with my buddy and came home to dig out my old Marantz 2270 stereo with speakers and to take pictures of some old rock albums on vinyl. I'm going to sell everything that has been in storage for years and get things uncluttered around the house. Today we had a frantic call from her sister that we need to get everything out of mom's house before the end of the month. Sharon and I have hauled almost 10 truck loads of stuff and neither her or my brother in law have hit much of a lick to-date. Yep, the end of the month is near and panic is setting in, where have you been? So over we went and disassembled a cabinet, the office desk and hauled another two loads of stuff to storage. Brother in law ended up in the hospital for a heart cath then a stint and will get out tomorrow. We are to pick the turkey up in the morning and him up later in the day so we are putting off Thanksgiving dinner till Friday. Hope all this stuff is over at the end of the month so we can get back to some kind of normalcy. :D :D :D

Mornin'. 30.7°f on this Turkey day. Not sure if it's cloudy or not as it's still on the dark side. We're having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner sometime today. Cheryl said it will be whenever everything is ready. Most likely it will be an early evening dinner. Then tomorrow we decorate for Christmas. Then head over to the Kids/Grandkids tomorrow night for another Thanksgiving dinner. Might head over early, as Jenni is into ancestry searching. So, we're going to surprise her with a large box of 35mm slides that date back to the 40'-60's. Some as far back as when Dad was in the army (Italy WWII). I bought a slide scanner, so she can pic out the photos she wants & get them loaded on a hard drive. I scanned a few myself and it works pretty goota' for a cheap unit. She'll be busy for awhile, there's hundreds of slides in there. Saturday will be spent digesting.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE.

........... And, don't forget to set your scales back 5 Lbs. this weekend.

Afternoon folkz. I just taped over the last two digits so's I don't really know!!!!
Temps in the upper 20's today, overcast skies and brrrr out there. My brother in law had a 20 lb. turkey being smoked in Navarre which is about a 20 minute drive for us so we had to pick it up this morning. Figured we may as well stop there then head up to pick him up at the hospital so we found a place to stop for breakfast and proceeded to the hospital. Up in his room for several hours and in comes the head Cardio doctor and he told us that he is not going home today as he actually had a heart attack with 95% blockage. We came back to my brother in law's house and deboned the turkey for our meal tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday.... whenever he gets to come home. Back home and we watched some footage of the Mecum car auction and took a nap as I have been up since 3:30 this morning. We will have to wait and see when they release him then we will go snatch him and come home. Thanksgiving is on permanent hold till..... ????????????????????? :D :D :D

Sorry you couldn't all be together on the big day, but tomorrow will work, Jack!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

We had a fun houseful. Emily, Jason, Denise, me, my old friend Dennis, and my sisters Judy and Nancy from Ohio plus Judy's boyfriend Bill.

Great day and just now coming out the food coma!

Going to be nice to visit with my sisters for two more days.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! bp

Mornin'. 34.2°f. I have 100 truck parking signs to install. I have them ready to go, but the guy installing the posts isn't done yet. I have this bad feeling the temps may not be 34.3°f when he's done.

Decorating day today, then over the river and through the woods, to the Grandkids house we go.
