I'm playing HVAC guy today. We aren't getting together for Thanksgiving until Sunday. Jeff took off work today, so we're having steak for dinner tonight.

Jeff got the Christmas tree lights going. Jeff being Jeff, put LED's on the tree. Built a controller for the LED's that's connected to WiFi. Connected that to a weather station that sends out weather signals. So, when the bulbs are blue, it's clear, white it's cloudy, green it's rain, red it's going to snow. Not sure what the color/combo is, but that's the idea anyway.
They're on default now, until the weather channel sends an update. So, since he just fired it up they're default blue & white. Sorta' like how an atomic clock only sends a signal once a day, the weather channel only sends a signal when there's a weather change.

Got the furnace all plumbed, with the exception of the water pressure regulator & back flow valve, sitting there on the water heater. I forgot the reg. has 1/2" inlet & outlet & the line coming in is 3/4". so I'm short a fitting. I'll get -er tomorrow.
The next couple days I hope to install the extra 32' of baseboard, the new furnace will be able to handle. Then, Jeff can finish the wiring & it should be ready for a test n tune. Got new bleeders for all the registers. With the regulator valve acting up, the pressure dropped some & then the bleeders started to sputter. Then they got all rusty & gunky & didn't werkie so goota'.
LQQKs like pretty mild weather for the next few days, so maybe we dodged a bullet. I had visions of a cold front coming in, then I'd be fixin' frozen pipes.

Gary, Richard Trethewey would be proud of you.

t is 41° right now 44 later on today. I ate too much yesterday and probably today too. Starting to learn how to open things with one hand. No plans for today or that probably tomorrow for that fact. I love this speech recognition as you don't have to type with one finger. :D :D :D

Auh shucks Jack, it's just like building a hot rod.
Now that I think about it, it really is a HOT rod.

Morning. 44 with possible showers and overcast skies today. Wife decided she wanted a new Christmas tree, so I guess we'll be looking for a new tree today. Going to the church to change the signing then to the grocery store. We are going to watch the Ohio state game later today. :D :D :D
