The directions were written for HVAC guys I 'hink. Even Jeff the HVAC guy (not Jeff the Son) was grumblin' about the sketchy manual. Oh well, my concerns about possible damage to the board due to this ooops, were unfounded, as once wired correctly it came to life. Radiators are in the upper 90's and climbing as I type. I've been runnin' around the house shooting the radiators with the infrared gun, like a was checkin' track temps.
This unit's boiler temp has a 145°f target temp. As it gets colder outside & it realizes it's not keeping up, it raises the boiler temp as needed. Up to 190°f when it gets really cold out. Pretty cool deal, or hot set up as the case may be. The old unit was a top fuel type. either full throttle or idle. This new unit is sorta' like a comp car. Partial throttle until it needs more and then Bam, off to the races.
