Mornin'. 65.7°f Cloudy skies, but none of the predicted rain yet. So, today is pressure wash the deck day.
Took a drive out in the field where the signs have to be installed. Seems to be dry enough and next week's forecast is relatively dry too, so maybe I'll finally get them installed.

Hi, everyone. Resting up after a hectic week with six days to go before we head across country (and leave poor Jason here by himself).

Happy Father's Day to all the dads. We are planning a quiet one tomorrow with grilling out and staying home. bp

Evening folkz. It was really nice all day but later it started to rain as they had mentioned earlier so we stopped and went for pizza. Started on the dash cam on the Merc but was getting low blood sugar and things weren't going so well so I quit. I went to my buddy's house on Thursday and we did some coney dogs at a drive-in restaurant but they were not so good. Yesterday I took Sharon out for a special Friday to PF Chang's then we did some shopping and just walked around a bunch window shopping. We stopped at the Akron Art Museum on the way home then we stopped at the mechanics to see if he checked out the Merc. He balanced the tires and said all the belts were in good shape to do some traveling. The neighbor guy stopped and handed us a block of baby Swiss cheese that he won at the club and we decided to share it with all of the other neighbors too. Sharon and I have been prepping for the community garage sale for almost two weeks and still don't have everything done. Her sister is coming on Monday to help haul all the stuff of Mom's from our garage to our garage so we can start getting it ready for the sale and hopefully emptying our garage. If it doesn't sell it's going to Mom's church for the rummage sale later in the summer. :D :D :D

Rained hard enough here today a couple times, to stop the pressure washing, but most of the time it was just a drizzle. Pressure washing can be a little wet Ann E. Weigh so it didn't slow down the project too much. Also pressure washed 150 fence slats, I be pooped. I was on a roll with the washer, so cleaned up the retaining wall in the back and the pavers by the back shed. Once the deck is done I may do the rest of the pavers, etc. as they have about 20 years of grim on them. They clean up pretty goota'.

Now if we can just get a dry spell, I'll start staining.
