Channel 2 News was outside today, most likely doing a "1 year later story" about the tornado.

The neighbors 2 doors down had to rebuild from scratch, I 'hink their new house came out nice. Last week they installed a Yellow Brick Road. A little Wizard of Oz humor I guess. We'll have to watch Ch. 2 & see how they tell the story.

Now Chicago Ch. 5 is saying there's rotation near I-80 between Ottowa & Morris. They're saying Coal City specifically is under watch until 9:57 Tornado on the ground, Sirens just went off. See you all later.

Seems to be winding down, but they are issuing new warnings still.
Seneca, town just a few miles west of us was hit. They say power lines down & a building collapse, possibly with people trapped. More later on that.

11pm, most of the bad stuff is over, time to hit the hay.

Sounds like tornados touched down here & there, but we'll have to wait 'til tomorrow to find out how bad & where exactly.

Foggy this morning. News says Seneca & Pontiac had damage. There were injuries, but it sounds like none life threatening.

Good Morning, raining here. The world wide weather is sooo weird. A city in northern B.C. Dawson Creek had so much rain in 3 days, that roads washed out. The city was split in half from washouts.
