Now that is unusual, Boyd beat us all on the clock.
85 with thunder storms around. I set up the movie camera across the street to record the eclipse on our house. I was going to point it at the sun but it says that the sun will cook the camera sensors so not today buddy. Can't wait to hear about all the looneys that will take a peek at the sun without proper safety precautions today. Clerk at Harbor Freight told me that they are selling out of welding helmets but even they are not strong enough to prevent damage to your eyes. He told me there will be a run on returns of welding helmets tomorrow. I took off this morning to do some stuff at the church then stopped for a snack on the way home. :D :D :D

Hi everyone. Played hooky with my workmates to go and look at the eclipse. Funny... we got a 72 percent coverage in DC but the light was just slightly diffused. Did not get dark until a cloud actually went by (a TRUE eclipse)! Took some pics with my iphone. Wish I could get them up on this board easier. bp

Morning folkz. 82 for today and heavy thunder storms on the way this afternoon. I have to do some weeding in the driveway and mix up some RoundUp to kill the weeds in the path to the garden. I bought another drill pump to transfer the gas from the cans to the car and I will try that today. Hope the other one was just a fluke as it puked out on the first try. :D :D :D

Morning. 76 and less humid today. I mowed the grass yesterday and sprayed some weed killer on them old nasty weeds. Here have a drink buddy! Went to lunch with my buddy and my brother and while there the winds kicked up and the rain came down in buckets. The power went off and on several times before it died completely but luckily we had already finished our meal. We went to lunch in my brother's 65 Cadillac convertible so we had a sprinkling inside the car water all the way home to refresh us!!! AC guy is coming Thursday to solve the mystery of why the AC water is running all over the basement, as the drain line is open? Normal stuff. :D :D :D

Glad you are still getting out and about, Boyd. Love to Susan.

Gary, hope all goes well with your deal.

Jack just keeps cranking along! Good man.

We took a group of us from work to the local Safeway store (downtown) and filled a cart to the brim for the Feds Feed Families program. One lady from Safeway walked us all the way back to our office... then we found out she had a device that would lock of the wheels on the cart if she wasn't with it! (I guess a few of those grew legs over the years!) Very nice folks...

Off to two days of training... time to learn some new stuff. Hope you all have a great late week and weekend. bp

Morning. Yes, bp I know some of those carts were sacrificed for wheelie bar wheels. Not that they would hold up but it looked good.
72 with rain today. I did a bunch of little chores yesterday but weeding on my knees and bending over took it's toll. Wore the old guy out, it did. Hoping to get some small trees pulled out before the rain comes today then Sharon is scheduled for an appointment with her foot doctor and we will eat dinner some place locally. :D :D :D
