Hi everyone. Glad to hear things are going well at the docs, Boyd. I'm officially in the house for the rest of the year myself. No big crowds.

Finally will get some work done around here! bp

Good Afternoon, Driving home from the Doc in Vancouver was difficult. I guess the stent removal was more affecting than I thought. I went to bed as soon as I got home. My innards felt like they'd been stomped on. I feel some better today. We were to go to a concert with friends tonight, but I'm going to stay home. Our friends will pick Susan up.

Headed to Church early this morning to put some non-skid adhesive stuff on the new ramps at the front door, donated by the local steel supply guys. Sidewalk is settling a little, causing a trip hazard so that took care of it. Anyhooo, there were a few flakes in the air then, (about 7:30) but by the time church was over (11:45) wow, there was about 2" on the ground. And, it's been snowing hard since then (1:45 now). 3-4" on the ground and it's 34.5°f so who knows how much has melted. There's enough snow cover that it could get a little chilly once the skies clear. Sure glad it's toasty warm in the house.

3:30, still snowing heavy. They called off the Children's Christmas Program for tonight. Snow on the deck railing is at 4.75" even though the temp. is still above freezing.

Spent some of the afternoon checking thermostats room by room, to see if they open & close the zone valve & call for heat from the boiler. They all do but for a couple. After swapping thermostats it looks like we have a couple bad ones. They're all original to the system I installed 18 years ago & are a little bit low tech. So, I ''hink I'll be ordering replacements. The HVAC guys recommended a programmable Honeywell unit for the new zone we put in. It works caroling' and is easy for this old codger to understand, so that will be the new standard unit for the house. If they last as long as the first ones it'll be somebody else's problem to fix.
Cheryl's on her way home from caroling, so we're gonna' have pizza and watch it snow.

Little less on the fence out back. It's melting, but the temp is below 32°f now. Snow is letting up some. They're predicting 40's tomorrow so it may not be around long.

Good morning. It will get up to 42° today with cloudy skies and rain predicted tomorrow. No scheduled activity today but doctors appointments for the next two days after that. Hopefully I can get my arm back of this cast on Wednesday. Sharon had to work Saturday so I hibernated in like an old bear. I have been sorting documents and papers for the filing cabinet for several days and I am about done. Now I need to sort through this mess on my desk, should be done by next winter. :D :D :D

Good Morning, I'm slowly getting better. It's snowing here today. Not much here in Langley.

I just got a call from the past. A guy called me from Iowa. He said his Dad had me paint a pull truck for him back in the early 80's. He was the 12 year old kid in tow, when his Dad would come to the shop.
He said his Dad passed away in Nov. & he is tracking down info. He still has the truck. It's been in storage for 30+ years because they didn't have the extra cash to keep it going. Says it has the same paint job & it's still in good shape. He's going to take some pics & email them to me. He says there's been well over 500 photos taken of it over the last few days, as they pulled it home to their shop & it apparently drew some interest as it made the trip. I just happen to have some photos in the office drawer of a few paint jobs I did in that shop back in the day & the Slab Grabber is one. Little fuzzy, but this is it. I'm LQQKin' forward to seeing the new photos.
