We're keeping you in our thoughts & prayers Boyd..

I got an early start and built the city today. Rome wasn't built in a day but Metropolis was built in 2.5Hrs. (well, with infrastructure already in place lol) Glad I got it done, it's in the mid 90"s already and the humidity is climbing due to overnight rain.

We had a lightning strike here this afternoon. After we were done for the day we went to Best Buy to pickup a new router. One that isn't fried. Jeff got it hooked up. Now we're waiting for Comcast to activate it. Typeing on the phone is awkward.

Got the new modem up and running, then found the router is toast too. We're having pizza at the kids place and then plan to pick up a new router after. Getting caught up on jobs before we leave Wednesday is being complicated by this whole thingy.

Glad to hear they let you out for a while Boyd. Did they make you wear an ankle bracelet in case you wandered off to a car show or the DLNats?!!!!!!! Keep up the good work matey.
Okay, back from a partial week in Nashville. What a whirlwind tour that was and the heat was torture but I got to tour a collection of tractors stored in an all metal building with no ventilation!!! It was like a sauna in there. I think I lost 20 lbs in about two hours.... weight watchers ain't got nothing on me buddy. No, we really had a blast down there. We ate at so many good places and most of them were mom and pop joints, that usually means goota for sure. The tractor collection brought back memories from growing up on the farm and the guy had a Farmall tractor that was owned by the "Duke" John Wayne and had a Conestoga wagon used in one of his films too. Our friends had friends from Brazil stop in and we went to a Brazilian restaurant to watch the soccer match between Brazil and Belgium but when Brazil made their one and only goal everyone went ballistic and darn near blowed my ear drums back to Ohio as my hearing aids amplify everything. Ouch. Sharon and I laughed and laughed with all of the people we meet and had a wonderful time and Sharon got to see fireworks so that was a plus. We had food from Brazil, China, Brazil, Merica, Brazil and some stuff I don't even know what it was so we didn't starve by any means. Went to an Apple store in the mall and it had about a hundred people in it but they wouldn't let me in as I have an Android!!!!! Those guys and gals earn their keep working at that store and you had to make reservations to get in. It looked like worker ants on a mission!!! We had a wonderful time did almost 1200 miles and several tanks of gas in the Mercruiser and she purred like a kitten. Good time, good people.
