Mornin'. Sunny again with 62.4°f temps. Time to fire up another work week.

I read on the funny car board this morning that Leon Lippolt had a stroke. No other information, sure hope he makes a full, speedy recovery.

Morning folkz. 64/87 today with sunshine. I have a doctor's visit this morning, stop at the grocery store for ingredients for my coney sauce and maybe go for lunch with my buddy. Sharon is going out with her friend for supper tonight so I will be on my own... nope the dog is going to be here with me.
I have been trying to find the combination of stuff to use to clean my fiberglass shower stall so that I won't scratch it all up and hit the jackpot yesterday. Use microfiber cloths, mix LA's Totally Awesome all purpose concentrated cleaner and WEIMAN Glass cook top cleaner and polish then top it off with a coat of Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba automobile paste wax. Wow, that looks nice. I use Comet cleaner with a "little" bit of bleach for the floor and would not recommend the use of the Meguiar's as it would be real slippery. :D :D :D

It was in the 90's again today, but it's a cool 86.9°f now. Light sprinkles, but it doesn't look like it'll amount to much. I haven't mowed the lawn since the day before we left for DLN's 13. Even the weeds are having a tough go of it. Corn looks more like the end of Sept. than middle of August.

Morning. Same here Gary, I have mowed but in places I was guessing where the last pass was. Zapster, you enjoy yourself. 70/80 and rain is just about to consume our area. It was so humid yesterday and last night that the AC never quit working all night. Didn't get much accomplished yesterday and today isn't looking to good either. I may go into the garage and try to straighten things up to a reasonable semblance of an organized garage. The dog and I got along well last night while Sharon went off to supper with her friends and she was a happy camper when she came home. :D :D :D

Ran down to Essex this morning to check out a 70 Trans Am a guy is restoring. It's got 70k miles on it, original 1 owner. Numbers matching 455, auto, Dark Green. The guy has had it stored for the last 40 years while raising the family. He's retired now, kids are raised and he's ready to get the bird back out. I told the body shop guy I'd take a stab at it, but couldn't promise getting the colors dead on like he's wanting. I'll print a small sample and see if it passes muster. It would be neat to work on the car, but it would be time consuming to recreate all the graphics. I'm not a fan of having to generate reverse engineered graphics, so we'll see how it.... Flies. (See what I did there. Trans Am .....Bird, ..... Flies).

It's 70.3°f and real dark here. Street lights on, kind of dark. I've got an ambulance sitting in the driveway that needs to be lettered, so I'm hoping I can get it done between the rain drops. Bad timing for rain for me, but we need the rain so let it come if it will.

Continued prayers for Boyd & Susan.
