We made it to the Mt Washington Cog Rail ride. But, due to weather conditions we only made it 1/2 way up the mountain. Still had some great views of Narnia. 12" of new snow and -6*f at the summit. I'm ready for Spring.

Oooowwww burrrrrr! White stuff bad, green good.
37/52 today with rain coming later in the afternoon. We went on our photo shot with Sharon's camera mounted on a tripod with a Bluetooth trip switch so you could take pictures by clicking a button on a remote. Really worked well but you can't get too far away from the camera as the range is limited. Stopped for breakfast, down to Verizon to find out how to extract Sharon's picture from her phone, over to Lowes to return some stain and nails, made a pit stop at the church to dig out a few wayward weeds, then stopped at the pharmacy for Sharon's meds before returning home. I went upstairs and downloaded about 1700 pictures from Sharon's video camera and about 500 from her phone. That girl is a regular Japanese tourist with all her pixs. Sharon went and picked up Lola from preschool while I listened to the dog whine till she got back. I have been researching snow blowers and finally found what I want so tonight we will go up to Home Depot and make a purchase before the snow hits.
:D :D :D

We just hooked up with Rt 100 that runs from the Canadian boarder to MS cutting north & south through Vermont. We're in Stowe tonight, heading for the Ben & Jerry's factory & Cold Hollow Cider Mill tomorrow ( samples mandatory) then on to Moss Glen Falls & the Vermont Country Store. There will be many photo stops I'm sure, as this is billed as one of the most scenic roads in the country.

Afternoon. I think your camera will need to go to rehab after you return home????
It only got down in the lower 40's last night and today it will top out at 48 with the rains continuing for some time. Sharon and I went to the bank and took care of her company plan then stopped for oriental for lunch. She is doing laundry while I play on the computer. Yesterday Sharon went to get a hair cut while I fixed the missing piece of siding on the single mother's house that lives across from us and planted some mums for my neighbor. Last night we stopped at Home Depot to order the snow blower and then meet Daryl and Heidi for pizza. Daryl showed us a video of his Mini Pete with a jet engine on the back.. that boy has a warped mind and I like him because of it. One guy commented on the video that "That is why you don't give a redneck money."
That youngin' is crazy.

It's smokin', but it cools off at night.

Drove part way down Rt 100 today. We planned to get further, but we ran into a little snow. 20 MPH a lot of the way. There were a few flakes in the air when we went into Ben & Jerry's. By the time we came out it was white. By the time we called it a day, it was 38* and raining. We'll try again tomorrow. The Ben & Jerry's Flavor Grave Yard Had an Ethan Almond flavor I thought Ethan would get a kick out of.

Can't drive through Vermont without seeing tall Church steeples and covered bridges.

Got a little dicey for awhile, but I think we drove through it. It's raining & melting now. If you go off the road around here it may take awhile to reach the bottom, depending on which side you go off.

Still managed to get a few shots in of the scenery. Not what we were expecting, but the snow looked cool too. (no pun intended).
Found a guy all ready for the snowy winter ahead.
