Good noon. Took off early this am to letter a water truck. The appointment to meet with a realtor about a sign install got pushed back 1/2 hour, so I thought I'd do a late check-in.
Another all day rain with 48.4°f. Just heard from Cheryl, her Dad's surgery went well. 1 down, one to go.

Evening folkz. It got up to 83 this afternoon with a slight breeze and it was just beautiful. Yesterday my buddy came down to resupply his oxygen stash and we went for lunch. Back home Sharon and I planted some flowers then today we mowed the lawn again. I went for rehab at 2:00 then returned home to cook pork chops with Granny Smith apples, raisins and some spices for supper. We spent the rest of the evening on the front porch watching Lola learning to ride her bike without training wheels. She crashed several times but kept at it as Sharon was filming her on her phone. :D :D :D

Mornin'. 51.6°f and more rain. I'll have to bale the lawn once it dries out enough to mow.

I'm out cutting angle iron to make brackets for the latest order of truck parking signs. The garbage tote is right outside the shop door. I LQQKed in the open tote, and it had just over 4" of water in it. Truck came by Tuesday, so that's what we got Wed & Thurs. No wonder everything is so damp.

Got the lawn mowed I do believe I'll be pulling the sweeper around a little tomorrow as there's a pretty thick blanket of clippings.
Got a text from Jenni this morning. Ethan & Jaden got to see an army truck and also a black hawk helicopter at school. I bet they'll be talking about that for awhile.

Evening folkz. In the 60's for the last several days with rain off and on as the days progressed. I took Sharon to the Kingswood Botanical Gardens in Mansfield yesterday then we stopped for a coney dog and diet root beer on the way home. 150 some miles and we had a very good time. We sat on the front porch Thursday night and Lola came out of her house and headed to ours with a plate of brownies..... I was drooling till she got here. They were as sweet as she is. Today we headed to the dentist as Sharon chipped her dentures and had to have them repaired, stopped for breakfast, grocery shopping then home. I went to rehab today and they upped my exercise to two 15 minute sessions and when I got home my sugar was 85. We had shrimp for supper then watched some TV while we relaxed. :D :D :D
