Evenin' . Didn't make it above the 50's today. Looked like rain all day, but a damp mist is as close as it got. I've been gettin' a little done on the deck the last few days. We used to pressure wash it every couple years and reseal it, but all we use it for these days is keeping firewood dry in the gazebo, so it's been neglected the last few years  . The tornado broke a lot of lumber and we had to sacrifice the boards along the walls to install the new siding. I'm hoping to get this job done before we get too far into summer, but we'll see how it goes. We've had the lumber since 2015, but the deck wasn't too high on the priority list. At least it's dried out pretty goota' 1 board at a time.........eventually it'll get done. Did I mention this stuff was a lot more fun 30+ years ago.

Mornin'. 58.3°f. Cloudy, but the buzz is we will see some sun and warm temps today.

All the utility work and staging are done. Now it's time to git-er-done. Traffic will be back to normal in November?

Morning. Nice patch job Gary and they are diggin' it up and puttin' it down on the main drag.
68/82 with rain this morning tapering off later today. Sharon and I went out to my exwife's house yesterday to get the front and back windshield from my 55 Chebbie that has been stored in her garage for years. I brought home some wood shelving too and we got it all put away in record time. Windshields are stored on an upper shelf out of harms way and the wood is laying flat on the floor so as not to warp. We also did some grocery shopping and got our pneumonia shot booster as instructed by our doctor. The carpet is installed on the steps and I have to call them to come back and fix a lump on one step. Carpet should last for another hundred years as it was a commercial grade Berber that wears like iron. Mowed the lawn on Tuesday and with all this rain it may need it again soon. Mower is getting a work out this year. :D :D :D

Thanks Jack. Projects are at a standstill today, more rain. There's rain in the forecast every day for the next 7 days. Hope that gets revised as the days pass. It's like we live in Seattle or sumthin'.

Mornin'. We have SUN this morning. Doubt it will last all day, but we'll take what we can get. 6 of the next 7 days have rain forecasted. Today I'm hoping to get the gazebo roof finished and shingled. I built it with a flat vented roof on the top section, with translucent fiberglass panels as sort of a poor man's skylight. Worked pretty good for a long time but 32 years later it's leaking. So, I built a roof section in the shop yesterday & now I am hoping I can hoist it up there. If not , I screwed it together, so I might have to take it apart & reassemble on the roof.

Beautiful and 80 today. It will be beautiful and 90 tomorrow! Sister Nancy is visiting from Cleveland and we are having a nice time. Ate at Kobe last night for some good sushi. Galazio today for a late lunch. No dieting this weekend! I hope everyone has a nice weekend. Fond memories and thanks to our departed heroes, family members, and friends. bp
